### Lip Filler Lip filler is a hyaluronic acid based dermal filler treatment designed to enhance shape, restore volume and improve lip definition while maintaining a soft, natural appearance. Treatment can be tailored to subtly hydrate and smooth fine lines, add structure to the lip border or create fuller volume depending on your goals. At Dr Sarah Hughes Clinic, lips are approached with balance and proportion in mind, ensuring results complement your facial features rather than overpower them. A detailed consultation is carried out to assess lip anatomy, discuss desired outcome and determine the appropriate volume required. **Post treatment advice** Mild swelling, tenderness and bruising are common and usually settle within a few days. Lips may feel firm initially and soften as the filler integrates. To reduce swelling and support healing: • Avoid touching or massaging the area unless advised • Avoid intense exercise, alcohol and excessive heat for 24 hours • Do not apply makeup to the area for 12 hours • Sleep with your head slightly elevated on the first night If you experience significant pain, uneven swelling or any concerns, contact the clinic for advice.
