Explore Biorestoration: The protein Facial with Celora™ Vita | DR SARAH HUGHES

Why is Celora Vita called "the protein facial"?
Celora™ Vita is an injectable skin-quality treatment designed to support overall facial skin quality without adding volume or creating dramatic changes to your appearance.
Its formulation combines hyaluronic acid with a targeted blend of nine amino acids selected for their role in collagen synthesis, elastin production and extracellular matrix renewal. Amino acids are simple proteins, the building blocks for collagen. Are you trying to eat more protein to improve your skin health. Well, when you ingest protein, your body will decide where it goes. Your body may prioritise your knee joints, not your skin. If you want protein building blocks in your skin, we need to put it there!
Why does skin quality change?
The skin naturally changes over time. From the late 20s onwards, some people begin to notice that their skin doesn't retain hydration as well as it once did. It may appear less luminous, feel drier, or show early changes in texture and elasticity.
Fine lines can become more visible, while environmental factors, lifestyle and changes in nutrition can also influence how the skin looks and feels.
Rapid weight loss can be another consideration. Changes associated with weight loss, including weight loss occurring alongside nutritional changes or GLP-1 inhibitor use, can sometimes coincide with changes in the appearance and quality of the skin.
For some patients, nutritional factors such as significant calorie restriction or dietary changes may also be relevant when considering overall skin quality.
Who might benefit from Celora™ Vita?
Celora™ Vita may be suitable for patients concerned about a range of skin-quality changes, including:
Dehydrated or dull-looking skin
Reduced elasticity
Fine lines and wrinkles
Uneven skin texture
Loss of natural radiance
Changes in skin quality associated with rapid weight loss
Skin changes occurring alongside significant nutritional or dietary changes
Rosacea or pigmentation concerns
It can also be considered when several aspects of skin quality need to be addressed as part of a broader, personalised treatment plan.
How does Celora™ Vita work?
Celora™ Vita is delivered through a series of small injections into the superficial layer of the skin.
A typical course consists of three treatment sessions, spaced three weeks apart. The treatment itself is relatively quick, and numbing cream can be used to help maintain your comfort during the procedure.
The approach is gradual rather than focused on an immediate or dramatic transformation. The aim is to support the skin's environment and its overall quality over the course of treatment.

What results can you expect?
Because Celora™ Vita is focused on skin quality rather than adding volume or changing facial structure, results are intended to develop progressively.
Patients may notice improvements in:
Skin hydration
Smoothness and texture
Softness and elasticity
Overall radiance
A healthier-looking appearance
The aim is not to make you look different. Instead, the treatment is designed to enhance the quality and appearance of your skin while preserving your natural facial characteristics.
Can Celora™ Vita be combined with other treatments?
One of the benefits of taking a broader approach to skin quality is that different treatments can address different aspects of the skin.
Celora™ Vita can be incorporated into a personalised treatment plan alongside other aesthetic treatments, and it is often combined with polynucleotide treatment protocols.
While different treatments may have different roles, Celora™ Vita focuses on supporting overall skin quality. Combining treatments can therefore allow a treatment plan to address several aspects of skin health and appearance rather than focusing on a single concern.
The appropriate combination and sequence of treatments will depend on your individual skin, concerns and goals.
Is Celora™ Vita right for you?
There is no single treatment that is right for everyone.
During your consultation, Dr Sarah Hughes will assess your skin, discuss what you would like to improve and consider your individual circumstances before recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
If your primary concern is skin quality rather than facial volume or structural change, Celora™ Vita may be an option worth discussing.
A more considered approach to skin quality
Aesthetic medicine is increasingly moving beyond the idea that treatment needs to create a visible change in facial shape.
For many patients, the priority is simpler: skin that looks hydrated, smooth, healthy and naturally radiant.
Celora™ Vita offers an approach centred on skin quality and facial biorestoration, with progressive results designed to complement rather than alter your natural appearance.
For patients looking for a considered approach to improving the quality of their skin, it can be an important part of a personalised treatment strategy.
